Administration

The team in the Administration Department includes the Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Administrative & Legislative Services, Executive Assistant, Payroll, Records Management, Events, Human Resources and Communications Coordinators. The key responsibilities of this department are: preparation of council agendas and minutes, bylaws, policies, correspondence, memos and reports, human resources management, purchase and procurement of office furniture, equipment and supplies as well as building maintenance and trouble shooting are included. Records management consists of document filing, retention and retrieval for all records of the Town of Chestermere. Administration responsibilities also include web site maintenance, booking meeting rooms in the Town Hall, scheduling, coordinating and hosting meetings and community events, overseeing the functions of the various Town departments and addressing the questions, concerns or issues of residents, staff and council members.
