The Town of Chestermere is seeking proposals for the provision of all services related to the development and defence of assessments for all property within the boundaries of the Town of Chestermere, excluding the development and defence of “linear property” as defined by the Municipal Government Act (Alberta).

Chestermere Utilities Incorporated – Fact Sheet

  • The Town of Chestermere is moving ahead with plans to form a Municipal Utility Corporation. Chestermere Utilities Incorporated (CUI) will be a wholly owned subsidiary of the Town and will provide safe and efficient water and wastewater services to Chestermere residents and businesses.

Public Works Yard Weekend Hours

  • The yard is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. (NEW!)
  • From April 1 to November 15 the yard is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for residents to bring in grass clippings, leaves and branches and recycling of electronics and paint
  • During the summer schedule, the yard will be open for weekend hours on statutory holidays (NEW!)

  • The Public Works yard is open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Closed on statutory holidays. The yard is located on the south side of Highway 1A, approximately one kilometre east of the Highway 1 overpass, beside the old waterslide site.
