The City of Chestermere is encouraging residents to celebrate the treasure of having a good neighbour during the inaugural ‘Amazing Neighbour Week’ taking place August 9-15.
“Earlier this year, Council wanted to find a new way to acknowledge and celebrate amazing neighbours around our community,” says Mayor Marshall Chalmers. “COVID-19 has changed many things. But one thing it has not changed is the importance of having, and being, a good neighbour. In fact, it has made it even more important as we find new ways to care for those in our community.”
