Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 027-20. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, November 17, 2020 at 6 p.m. during the regular meeting of Council for the below proposed bylaw.
Public Hearings are scheduled during regular meetings of Council, (unless otherwise noted) visit chestermere.ca/agendas where links to watch the live stream will be posted on the day of the meeting.
Members of the public who wish to provide verbal representation through live tele-conferencing during the Public Hearing or written feedback must fill out the form at chestermere.ca/feedback. Written submissions may also be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, which bylaw you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 12 p.m. Otherwise, the City will accept submissions until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Bylaw 027-20 Land Use Redesignation in South Shore – Residential Single Detached District (R-1) to Residential Planned Lot Front-Drive District (R-1PFD)
This land use redesignation bylaw proposes to redesignate 2.97 hectares (7.34 acres) of land within South Shore’s Outline Plan, from the Residential Single Detached District (R-1) to the newly approved Residential Planned Lot Front-Drive District (R-1PFD).

When making a verbal representation, a member of staff will call you during the public hearing for you to make your representation to Council. Please be available by your phone in anticipation of this call. The Mayor will address you to speak once you are on the line. Individuals will have a maximum of five minutes to make their representation.
