- With nighttime temperatures now forecasted to be below 0 degrees Celsius tomorrow night, paving will go ahead overnight tonight and complete on Fri. October 8.
- Lane restrictions will be in place from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am tonight and Fri. October 8 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

- Due to delays at the asphalt plant, the paving schedule has been pushed back by one night.
- Lane restrictions will be in place from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am on October 6 and 7.
- All work is expected to be completed by 5:00 am on Fri. October 8.

One of Chestermere’s busiest intersections, Chestermere Blvd. and West Chestermere Drive, will be paved October 3 until October 8, weather dependent. While the intersection won’t be completely closed, expect delays travelling through the area.
Paving is being completed at this intersection as part of a 20-year lifecycle replacement strategy for critical infrastructure.

Outside listed dates and times, all lanes will be open. Signage will be placed reminding motorists that the road surface will be rough and that there will be speed reductions.
To limit traffic and transit interruptions, most construction will be taking place on the weekend and weekday nights.
Advance voting for the Chestermere Municipal Election will be taking place October 3 and 4 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Rec Centre. Access to the Rec Centre will not be impacted by this construction. Lane restrictions part of this paving project will be limited to the last hour of Advance voting on Sunday, October 3rd (7:00 – 8:00 pm).
