Fire Chief Coutts has been a former Deputy Fire Chief and Fire Safety Consultant with the City. He brings over 28 years of community safety and emergency management expertise.
He formerly served as Fire Chief of Lesser Slave Lake Regional Fire Service for over ten years before joining the City of Chestermere.
His consulting has been instrumental in helping develop fire standard operating practices and guidelines the City is currently working on.
“I’m happy to work again with the fantastic emergency services crews in this City,” said new Fire Chief, Jamie Coutts. “The safety and well-being of our community are paramount to me and I look forward to upholding the excellence Chestermere is used to.”
