The City of Chestermere invites residents and visitors to John Peake Park on Saturday, August 13, for a free lakeside music festival.
The fun will start even before the music as festival-goers can check out the marketplace as early as 11 a.m. Children’s tent activities will be available beginning at noon, where families can partake in a round of mini golf, try out some axe throwing, and take in a featured family performance by Gustavo at 1:30 p.m.
Bands will hit the stage at 1 p.m. and will showcase a little bit of country and a little bit of rock-n-roll!
Schedule of Musical Performances
1:00 p.m. Experience a little bit of rock-n-roll with Rocky Mountain Maniacs.
2:30 p.m. Get hooked on Justine Vandergrift’s original, crystal clear, and perfectly emotive voice.
4:00 p.m. The Blenders, led by local Chestermere musician Blair Supple, will delight music fans.
5:15 p.m. Kick off your boots and dance barefoot in the grass to a great mix of Folk, Bluegrass, and Country tunes with Girl Haggard.
6:30 p.m. Enjoy the powerhouse vocals and soulful Country/Americana sound of Sarah Curle.
7:45 p.m. Country singer Robert Gosse will hit the stage with a set list packed full of back-to-back party and anthem songs you’ll sing along to.
9:00 p.m. Don’t miss the festival’s headliner! Canadian Idol alum and country recording artist, Will Randall, is back and better than ever.
Hungry music fans can grab something delicious from one of the participating food trucks starting at 12 p.m. and stay for evening fireworks to finish the night at 10:30 p.m.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and your reusable water bottles (there will be a truck with fresh water available to refill for free).
Public Parking will not be available at John Peake Park. While we encourage people to walk, if you are driving, please park with respect to residents and businesses in the surrounding areas.
