Adoption of the Clearwater Park West (Stage 1) Outline Plan and Associated Land Use Map Amendments
An application by IBI Group on behalf of the landowner Clear Water Park Inc. (A Centron Company) has been received to develop lands in the northeast area of Chestermere described and shown below as “Clearwater Park West (Stage 1)”.
Previously, City Council approved an Area Structure Plan (ASP) that provides guidance for this application. The total Area Structure Plan boundary area is approximately 391.14 ha (966.53 ac) and includes three stages. This application and associated amendment to the City of Chestermere’s Land Use Bylaw focuses on Clearwater Park West (Stage One), which is approximately 110.06 ha (271.96 ac).
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 021-22. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, September 6, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m. during the regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.

Members of the public who wish to provide verbal representation through live teleconferencing during the Public Hearing or written feedback must fill out the form at chestermere.ca/feedback. Written submissions may also be submitted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, phone number, which bylaw you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2022.
