Starting October 17, green carts will return to bi-weekly curbside collection until May 2023.

With lower amounts of household organics in the fall and winter, the collection moves to every other week alternating with black cart collection. In the spring, green cart collection will resume weekly pickup when there is more yard waste as the weather warms up.

Green carts are for organics such as food scraps, pet waste, and fall leaves (to name a few). If you are bagging your compost, please ensure you use compostable bags only – no plastic.
