How do you feel about your taxes? Wish you could get more services? Interested in cutting costs? Now’s the time to have your say.
Over the past few weeks, City Council has been inviting residents to dish up their opinion as they begin to look at setting municipal budgets for the next four years.
“We only have a few days left and we want everyone to let us know what they think,” says Mayor Marshall Chalmers. “Don’t miss out on this opportunity to share your thoughts on what needs to be done or changed for the next four years.”
By visiting the City’s website www.chestermere.ca/budget you can participate in two ways:
- Use the interactive budget simulator to tell the City how you would change the budget for each City department including Emergency Services, Roads, Community Services, City Hall, and more!
- Have an idea for a project around our community? Use the interactive mapping tool to point it out on a map or comment on others’ ideas!
The participation opportunities will be open until September 17.
