On Sunday December 2, 2018, Chestermere Peace Officers, in cooperation with Calgary Animal Services, arrested a male from Chestermere in relation to numerous offences pertaining to a Vicious Dog complaint in Chestermere.
The arrest warrant was the only available option after continued non-compliance with the City’s Vicious Dog legislation.
Chestermere Municipal Enforcement encourages responsible pet ownership, and takes a strong stance regarding vicious dogs, in order to prevent injury and protect public safety.
A male from Chestermere is now facing 5 charges under the Animal Control bylaw, including failing to licence a Vicious Dog.
