It may feel like summer is far away, but the City’s Parks team is already thinking about how to improve the experience at the Bike Park once the weather warms.
Last week, the team completed a new shade structure at the park.
“At our annual Bike Park BBQ last summer, we heard a recurring request to add some shade,” says Kate Richards, the City’s Recreation Coordinator. “We loved that idea and were happy to add this structure so that families can have a shady space to enjoy a picnic or take a break.”
The Bike Park is closed for the winter but will reopen in the spring once the snow melts.
