Chestermere’s City Council is looking for your opinion on some important topics!
The City’s new consultation site, www.chestermereconversations.ca gives residents an opportunity to provide their feedback in a way that can impact decisions.
“Public engagement is a big priority for this Council,” says Mayor Chalmers. “When you participate on this new site, all that feedback goes right back to your Council before they make a decision so please take the time to share your thoughts.”
Currently, the City has three new engagement projects open for your comments:
- Taxi Bylaw Changes: The City is looking at changing the licensing structure for taxi and ride-share companies. Give your opinion on that issue from January 17-31.
- Cannabis Cultivation: Do you think the City should require a license for those who want to grow cannabis at home? Leave your thoughts on this topic from January 21-February 4.
- Lake Management Solution Brainstorming: We want to make our Lake a safer place and need your help to come up with solutions to do that. Learn more about the Lake Management Plan and register for the upcoming workshop on the site.
While these are the current active projects seeking feedback, Chestermere Conversations also provides a place to share general comments and information on past projects.
To participate in the site, you will need to sign up with an email address and Chestermere postal code.
