[ARCHIVED] October 3: AltaLink Work Starting October 9

Representatives from AltaLink have informed the Town that they will be installing spacers between some of the lines in a few sections of the AltaLink that run through Chestermere starting October 9. The installation of 240kv Interphase Spacers will help to eliminate movement in the lines.

They will use the Right of Way at Structure 78 (Off West Lakeview Drive) to do work on Structure 77 and the Right of Way off of Range Road 283 (Rainbow Road) to do work on Structures 82 and 83.

Please be aware that there will be no power outages and there will be no overweight trucks on site for the duration of the work.
