FULL ADVERTISEMENT (Published in the Chestermere Anchor News Sept. 17 & 24) 

A Public Hearing will be held on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2020 for the below listed proposed bylaws. Members of the public who wish to provide verbal representation live through tele-conferencing must fill out the form at chestermere.ca/feedback by 12 p.m. on September 29 to be registered. Written submissions may also be submitted at chestermere.ca/feedback or by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, which bylaw you are speaking to and whether you are in favor or opposed.

When making a verbal representation, a member of staff will call you during the public hearing for you to make your representation to Council. Please be available by your phone in anticipation of this call. The Mayor will address you to speak once you are on the line. Individuals will have a maximum of five minutes to make their representation. Detailed instructions are available at chestermere.ca/agendas.

Proposed Land Use Redesignation from Residential Single Detached District (R-1) to Residential Planned Front Drive (R-1PFD) within the Chelsea Outline Plan area.

Proposed Land Use Redesignation from Low Rise Multi-Unit Residential District (R-4) to Local Commercial District (C); and Local Commercial District (C) to Low Rise Multi-Unit Residential District (R-4). for a parcel within the Chelsea Outline Plan area.

The purpose of this application is to adjust the boundary line between the residential and commercial development parcels.

If you wish to submit a written submission, kindly send it to chestermere.ca/feedback by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday October 1, 2020. However, the City will accept submissions until 4 p.m. on Tuesday October 6, 2020.

Note: Any submission received after this time will be considered an oral submission and may be read into the record at the public hearing by the writer, or read on his or her behalf. Copies of the proposed bylaws may be reviewed on the City’s website at chestermere.ca/bylaws.
