New Utility Account Application

    Please note: there is a service deposit ($300) and a bin deposit ($130) if the City does waste collection for the property that is applicable to all new residential accounts. These deposits can be waived if you sign up for a Pre-Authorized Payment Plan and e-billing, or if you have or have previously had a utility account with 12 months of on-time payment history (no fewer than two incidents of late payments and no more than one missed payment).

    This personal information is being collected for purpose of administering a customer account database, and should you select to participate, for the electronic billing system and pre-authorized payment plan option with the City of Chestermere, and as such is deemed to be an activity of the City of Chestermere. The personal information is collected under the authority of Section 33(1)c of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and will be used only for the purpose identified.
