Honour Our Veterans Banner Program

  2. About this Program

    This program offers an opportunity for anyone to honour a veteran with a special banner that will be placed in a Chestermere park. It is open to honouring those who served in regular forces, peacekeepers and reservists (past and present). Please note that the cost to have each banner created is $165.00. If you have any questions about this program, please contact the City of Chestermere Parks Department at 403-207-2807.

  6. Please indicate any special flags you would like displayed to a maximum of 2. If left blank, the Canadian flag will be shown.

  7. Please provide the name and rank of the service member as you would like it to be displayed. E.g. Lt. Col. M.A. Germain

  8. Please include a photo of the service member that is to appear on the banner, preferably their official service photo. If you would prefer, you can submit a physical photo with the application form. Physical photos will be returned to the applicant after the deadline date.

  9. Please indicate which branch you would like listed (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.)

  10. Please indicate service details including war(s), tour(s), battalion, etc.

  11. Please indicate who should be listed as the honouring family. If you prefer no one to be listed, please leave this section blank.

  13. Payment Information

    If you are submitting this form online, you can provide payment over the phone by calling 403-207-7050. Once payment has been made, a member of the Streetscape Committee will follow up with any information about the program as required. If you would like to pay in person, please visit Chestermere City Hall (105 Marina Road, Chestermere, AB) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
